I graduated from McDaniel College with a major in Exercise Science and Physical Education and a minor in Sports Coaching. I played both soccer and softball all four years of college. I also have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. I am in my 13th year of teaching at Gorman Crossing Elementary, and I am so excited for what this year will bring!
In my spare time I enjoy playing slow-pitch softball, singing, and doing all kind of art! My favorite colors are Orange and Purple (probably because my favorite sports teams are the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens)!
I'm so excited to be joining the Gorman Crossing Family this year. I'm beginning my 8th year of teaching Physical Education, graduated from Towson University and am working on earning my Masters in Educational Leadership. My hobbies include teaching, playing basketball, volleyball and softball, running and Zumba. My favorite thing of all is spending time with my son Colby (3), my daughter Carter (1), my husband and our two dogs, Chewy and Jack. We love being outside, cheering on our favorite sports teams (Go Raven's & O's) and exploring new places together. I'm looking forward to guiding our students as they attain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to enjoy a lifetime of health-enhancing physical activity.
