I graduated from McDaniel College with a major in Exercise Science and Physical Education and a minor in Sports Coaching. I played both soccer and softball all four years of college. I also have a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College. I am in my 17th year of teaching at Gorman Crossing Elementary, and I am so excited for what this year will bring!
In my spare time I enjoy playing slow-pitch softball, singing, and doing all kind of art! My favorite colors are Orange and Purple (probably because my favorite sports teams are the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens)!
I also spend my time with my wife and our 11-month old son, Geo : )
I'm so excited to be entering my 4th year at Gorman Crossing Elementary. I'm beginning my 11th year of teaching Physical Education, graduated from Towson University and am working on earning my Masters in Educational Leadership. My hobbies include playing basketball, volleyball and softball, running and Zumba. My favorite thing of all is spending time with my son Colby (6), my daughter Carter (4), my husband and our two dogs, Chewy and Jack. We love being outside, cheering on our favorite sports teams (Go Raven's & O's) and exploring new places together. I'm looking forward to guiding our students as they attain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to enjoy a lifetime of health-enhancing physical activity.
